Heads Up

If you live in Phoenix and you have ever considered getting a dog, you MUST check out HALO Animal Rescue this weekend!!! They are celebrating their 15th anniversary this Saturday by lowering their adoption fees to $15. Yes, any dog (or cat) for $15. Instead of $150 - $200. They are all spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and micro-chipped. My dear, sweet as pie daughter brought this to my attention last week in a not-so-subtle attempt to wear me down early. And it has almost worked. There is a german shepherd/cattle dog mix that is breaking my heart not to own. I just don't think we're ready yet, but what a bargain!! I DO love a good deal . . . Pass along this great info to any you know who might be interested. (And hands off that sweet cattle dog until I officially decide.)
