Jamberry Nail Shields: These are AWESOME!! I've given up my beloved pedicures in order to stick to our "spending diet" that we began a little over a year ago. (We're STILL doing it -- we've gone an entire year without incurring any new debt AND have decreased our old debt by 1/3!!! But I digress.) Anyway, no pedis. Sure I can PedEgg my own calluses (though I don't enjoy it) and I can paint my own toe nails (not as well as Tony over at Music Nails), but I have really missed the pretty little flowers on my big toes. I don't know why. I wear flip-flops almost year-round so I can see my toes a lot. And also I'm vain. Whatever. I bought some of these Jamberry thingies before Christmas and decided to give them a go. They are soooooo easy to put on. You just stick the little vinyl-y sticker thing to your toe, heat it up with a blow dryer, press it down really good, and file off the excess. They look really fancy, AND they last forever. I've been wearing mine for three weeks now and they're perfect! They have tons of different design and I figure I am going to get AT LEAST 4 pedicures out of my one $15 pack. I'm hooked! I got the pretty black ones above, but these are the ones I want to get next:
You could even go in with some of your friends and get a few different designs to share! I'm telling you, these are a
Stumble Upon: So, this is old news to most net-savvy folks, but new to me (as usual). Here's what they say about themselves:
StumbleUpon offers nearly 500 topics which users may choose to indicate their interests and preferences so each Stumble produces only the most relevant content. StumbleUpon delivers increasingly relevant content as the Toolbar learns what the user has liked in the past and continues to present quality web sites in the future.I could sit for hours and click the "stumble" button and it shows me cool things (usually) about several topics in which I have indicated interest. Some things are cooler than others, but I can never wait to see what will pop up next. I'm a nerd. Also, my kids have been home from school sick this week so I am trapped in my house. Whatever.
Waste Time Here: No, it's not a waste of your time. Well, not really. My little brother just started a blog and I think it is hysterical. You need to click that link just to read his FAQ page. Here's his description of himself:
Q: Who are you?'Nuff said.
A: I'm Robbie. I speak two languages and enjoy eating food. It takes me roughly 4 hours to run a marathon and I can bench press about 185 pounds. My friends call me Robbie.
And that is what I've been up to lately. In case you were wondering.

You're the best!
