This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Bulbs. Dig, Drop, Done. for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
I was reading a family crafts type magazine the other day that was full of all kinds of winter and snow related craft projects. I was thinking, "Weird. It's not Christmas anymore," when I realized it is still winter. It doesn't feel like winter here anymore, but February is definitely a winter month. I'm already thinking about spring. The flowers, the green grass, the flowers . . . Every year I get so excited when Trader Joes has their $3 daffodil bunches. I've always wanted to try growing flowers at home, but it seems really scary and a little difficult to me. Plus, I've never been able to grow anything. Whatever. I was super excited when I found DigDropDone.com. This website is chock-full of inspiration and tips for planting and growing bulbs. It's a really fun site centering around three women - Marcy {the supermom}, Juliana {the fashionista}, and Evelyn {the empty nester}. If I had to choose a favorite, it would be Marcy.
I'm a little . . . intense . . . like she is. Remember how competitive I was when Sydney ran for student council? Yeah. I'm a Marcy. At DigDropDone.com you can watch humorous little videos about each woman and learn to ins and outs of bulb planting. It's really entertaining as well as informative. They make it look so easy! I learned that bulbs aren't just for gardeners. They are extremely simple plants that can be used in a surprising number of ways. Bulbs can be used in anything from interior and exterior design, to creative gift giving and decoration, to entertaining activities for children and families. Sure bulbs can be planted outside to spruce up your yard, but they can also be grown indoors to bring that springy feeling in. I mean, how cute are these ideas?

Here's the really great news: “Bulbs. Dig, Drop, Done.” is giving away a $5,000 yard makeover! All you need to do to enter is submit a photo of your yard at Curbside Chaos . The lucky winner will not only receive a $5,000 yard makeover, but they will also receive a visit from Taniya Nayak {you know, from HGTV!} – Taniya will go through and give you tips on the best way to update your yard! She will give you creative ideas for incorporating flower bulbs into your landscape. How cool would that be?! And, if you share this contest with your friends on Twitter, "Bulbs. Dig, Drop, Done." will donate $1.00 to Rebuilding Together - the nation’s leading nonprofit, working to preserve affordable homeownership and revitalize communities.
While you're at Curbside Chaos be sure to try out the Garden Guru Tool located in the bottom left of the screen. This tool will help you figure out which bulb is perfect for your home depending upon where you live! It's so easy:
Step 1 – Pick your Country
Step 2 – Pick your location within that Country
Step 3 – Choose the type of bulb you want to grow
Step 4 – Check out the Planting Guide that shows you how to plant your bulbs.
The planting guides are easy to follow, too.

I may actually be able to do this. My yard {and my neighbors} would thank me! Just visit www.digdropdone.com to learn more about how easy and fun planting bulbs can be.
