After road-tripping for the past 11 days with my kids, siblings, and parents in the beautiful Rocky Mountains in Colorado for a super-fun family reunion, we are finally home. Brent wasn't able to take the time off of work to come with us so we missed him terribly and were glad to see him again, but the reality of the hot Arizona summer was hard to come back to. Here are a few highlights from our trip:
Crazy cousins. Those boys are soooo embarrassing!
My whole family {minus Brent and my sister-in-law Hazel}.
Zip-lining.
Archery.
Uncle Robbie convinced his nephews to get in the melted-snow waterfall with him.
And if you live in Arizona, you should go to Colorado. Like, now. I'm so serious. It was awesome. We got a much-needed break from the heat and desert. My kids have NEVER seen ANYTHING like those mountains before. Such a great vacation, but it's always good to be home.
I'm planning wrapping up my kids' bathroom this week, now that we've got nothing to do but wait for school to start again. Be sure to hop on over and enter the giveaway I have going on now for a set of all-occaision postcards from UPrinting and yours truly. Have a great week!

This looks like it was a blast! What an awesome family reunion! Also, you seriously have some of the cutest kids I have ever seen! I love your kids!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun week! How nice to get to wear a light sweater or jacket in July :) It does make the heat more bearable to take a little break from it. That Syd is getting so OLD! She looks like an adult in these photos. Every time I see her I can't get over how adorable she is in that haircut. Seriously adorable! I am so glad you had a blast! What a great time :)
ReplyDeleteGreat pics - fun to see your whole family. And you have a mini-me!!! Haven't seen pictures of her for awhile. Soooo cute.
