If you're joining us for the first
time today, welcome! This is day 22 of a 31-day series about how to give a room in
your home a brand new look, from top to bottom, completely DIY.
I know I've been doing a lot of pillow projects in this room. I keep thinking of this comedy bit by Jim Gaffigan:
{Sorry for the lame pillow montage . . . I only had the audio clip so I added a review of our pillow projects this week to "spice it up". Soooo spicy, right?} You have to be able to laugh at yourself sometimes!
Today is a really easy accent pillow project, after a couple of tedious ones. I found a link on Pinterest to this pretty pillow on E Tells Tales.
That bow is what sold me!! Could it be any more fun and girly?!! I followed Elizabeth's tutorial exactly and it was REALLY simple. {Sidenote: You should go check out E Tells Tales when you are done here. It is beautifully designed and full of gorgeous images. You'll thank me later.}
I used a raspberry houndstooth print fabric instead of that cool stripe in the example.
The bow gets a little bit lost in the busy pattern, but I still kinda' dig it. That raspberry pink looks so good with the navy blue walls . . .
Join me again tomorrow for one last pillow cover tutorial before I share the big Anthro knock-off duvet tutorial on Wednesday! I can't believe it's almost the end of the month and this room is almost finished. Have a great day, friends!
