Suzani Style Applique Pillows on Craftaholics Anonymous® Today!

Hey guys!  Today is my second guest post at Craftaholics Anonymous® as part of the creative team.  I am having so much fun coming up with projects to share over there this year!  This month I am sharing my love for Suzani textiles and a tutorial for these Suzani-style felt applique pillows.  Not sure what Suzani is?  Hop on over for a little edumacation and a fun tutorial {if I do say so myself}!

Side note:  My family does not like these Suzani pillows as much as I do.  I mean to say, I Luh-uh-uh-ve them and my family ha-a-ates them.  "Maybe you just don't understand what they are," I pleaded and gave them my spiel about how awesome Suzani textiles and patterns are.  They patiently half-listened before telling me that no, they still don't like the pillows.  They can now appreciate the pillows, they said, but they will not be sad to see them go.  *Cut to close up of my face with a perfect, single tear rolling down my cheek.*  I can lead those horses to the waters of good design, but I can't make them drink . . . 

What do you all think?  Am I off my rocker here or do you like Suzani, too?
