Gratitude Chalk Art & a Free Printable Version

Thanksgiving Chalk Art at /
Hi guys!  My pretty white chalkboard has been sitting empty on the wall for far too long so I decided to play with a fun new font I acquired recently to create a design I could transfer onto it.  Thanksgiving is one of my favorite times of year -- it's nice to make a conscious effort to count your blessings sometimes.  When I saw this saying on Instagram a little while ago, I knew I had a winner.  For some reason it just really struck a chord with me.  I have learned over the past few years that gratitude really does beget happiness.  Unfortunately I have also learned {the hard way} that nothing kills happiness faster than feeling like life has short-changed you.  It's impossible to be resentful and happy at the same time.  It just is!

I played around with the font until I got it just how I wanted, then I used a projector to project it onto my chalkboard, where I traced the image in chalk.  Here is a little more detailed tutorial about that process, if you're curious. In the past I have also used this grid method as well.  If you aren't interested in creating your own chalk art, you can just download one of the printables below.  I don't judge.

Simply click on the image you want to download while pressing CTRL key to open it in a new window.  Click on it again in that window to make sure it is full size, then right click and save to your computer.  The printables are 8x10 inches so you can print them on your home printer or send them to your favorite photo printing place.  As always, my printables are free for personal use.

Enjoy the start to your holiday season, my friends!
