I can't tell you how excited I was when this book arrived in the mail yesterday for me to read and review. What a fun thing to come home from Girls Camp to! It was like Christmas morning for me. Maybe better. Seriously.
Some of you may already be familiar with Amy Anderson's blog Mod Podge Rocks where she features tons of projects made with Mod Podge, the Holy Grail of craft products. Well, now she has a book out. That's fancy, folks.
Mod Podge Rocks! Decoupage Your World is full of bright, beautiful pictures that are sure to get your creative juices flowing. This vintage suitcase is my favorite:
Or maybe it's these canisters:
There are over 40 projects in this book -- you heard me, over forty!! They all have detailed instructions for those who may be a little wary of diving right in and getting their hands dirty. I love that.
The best thing about this book {maybe ... I can't decide} is the guide to Mod Podge at the beginning of the book. Amy talks about all the different formulas of Mod Podge currently on the market {lots of new products are coming soon...} and gives you her expert tips and tricks for how to use them. I actually learned A LOT. I wish I would have had that before I messed up a few of my own projects with my inferior technique.
If you haven't used Mod Podge you really should give it a try!! It's super easy and can be used in a ton of different ways. Here are just a few of the things I have used it for:
Along with the book, I received a fun bag of Mod Podge goodies that I want to share with you guys!
You could win a sampling of some BRAND NEW Mod Podge products that are just now making their way into your local craft stores. Super fun!! Use the Rafflecopter form below to enter. The Giveaway ends June 13th at 12:01 a.m. Good Luck, friends!!
This book was given to me to read and review. The opinions are 100% my own.
